We Asked People at SEMA - “What Do You Think About The Wolf?”

In the past week, Las Vegas was booming with more than 160,000 visitors attending the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Associations) Show 2023. With over 2,200 exhibitors, the show attracted more visitors to the Las Vegas Convention Hall compared to the previous year.

Alpha Motor Corporation’s WOLF electric truck was invited by Black Rhino Wheels to attend SEMA and showcase our vehicle in a special outdoors lot hosted by Hoonigan, housing 60+ industry leading aftermarket and racing performance brands for its 5.6 million fans. Alongside Ferrari’s Le Mans winning car, the WOLF was selected as one of three to have a dedicated custom stand, making the electric truck an absolute standout among the 40 vehicles on the lot. Even the rare and extreme motorsport vehicles and drift burnout events could not steer people away from the WOLF. WOLF differentiated itself from the rest of the lot not only in its identity as a new EV truck but, through its unique looks that naturally attracted the visitors’ gaze and curiosity.

“Amazing, looks really good.”

“The future is electric so if we are going there, it might as well look like this.”

“Electric is part of the future whether we like it or not, and this thing looks like it will get down.”

“It’s timeless.”

Alpha’s WOLF electric truck was also recently featured on America’s top Podcast. Joe Rogan and Reggie Watts discussed the WOLF, including its variants WOLF PLUS (extended cabin), SUPERWOLF (dual cabin), and NIGHTWOLF customization.

On one of the most popular lots in the entire show, the WOLF is estimated to have reached a daily audience of around 20,900 people during SEMA week. Despite the fast-moving crowd accustomed to browsing and quickly snapping photos, the WOLF certainly stopped more footsteps than regular show vehicles. Some immediately recognized that the WOLF was electric, and some were more curious to find out. People took the time to investigate our model from front to back and even from above the truck bed to down and under in search of more details.

Every hour, the changing natural light created a dramatic display of the midnight blue coated WOLF in contrast to the orange desert scenery drawn of the custom-made stand. The WOLF electric truck was accoladed with reactions such as, “this is the best-looking electric truck there is.” And many visitors did not hesitate to share their sentiments on today’s EVs and how refreshing and desirable it is to see the WOLF’s design like no other. Several visitors pointed out that the WOLF displays the identity of an electric vehicle as much as the classis truck look that people love. Some also noted that “it’s too good to be real, it must be a one-off,” and was delighted to learn that indeed, the WOLF is actively in development to be available for the U.S. market.

One of the most welcomed surprises for the audience was Alpha’s goal to create a more accessible electric truck. People’s approval and excitement around the WOLF overshadowed the impatience for production dates. The WOLF was met with a crowd in agreement with the need for accessibility in the EV market and in approval of the WOLF’s design and planned performance capabilities.

As the SEMA show attracts off-roading enthusiasts and experts, the show proved to be a valuable opportunity for WOLF to share its potential in the outdoor adventures sector. Many enthusiasts immediately approved of the WOLF’s sturdy design and excitedly asked questions regarding its base model specs and variations. Enthusiasts left the lot impressed by the success story of this year’s test drive and Alpha’s plans for performance options with AWD, dual motors as well as the rest of WOLF series trucks (WOLF+, SUPERWOLF).

To students and younger visitors, Alpha’s WOLF truck has already become a dream vehicle. Genuine conversations showed how the younger audience looks for vehicles that will turn people’s heads. And the WOLF is sure to attract and impress, “just imagine pulling up in this truck!”

Businesses in creating progressive production systems via advanced digital tools and user focused services developers approached Alpha in recognition of the evident character breaking away from the traditional market. At a glance of the WOLF truck, people recognized Alpha’s potential as a groundbreaking automotive company, differentiated from others.

In short, visitors’ reactions to the WOLF electric truck developed in three stages: curious, impressed, and convinced. The 4 days of showcase invited anyone to indulge the WOLF in person, up close and in 360°. WOLF’s appearance at the SEMA show has led to more than 1,200% increase in Alpha’s reach on social media, resulting in a viral video.
