History
Established in late 2020, Alpha started as an independent automotive technology company creating innovative electric vehicles with accessible design and performance to accelerate sustainability in transportation. Alpha developed its business to further enhance domestic production of electric vehicles and to provide them directly to consumers across the U.S by establishing an efficient system of delivery.
After a successful market introduction in 2020, Alpha's WOLF Electric Truck concept made its debut at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles in 2021. Due to significant public interest, the exhibition continued until late 2022, marking the competition of Alpha's proof-of-concept stage. Subsequently, Alpha focused on refining its modular vehicle platform technology, enabling the development of various electric vehicles sharing the same platform.
Emphasizing quality and production control, Alpha heavily invested in proprietary manufacturing tools, tooling, jigs, and fixtures for reproducing the WOLF Electric Truck. Additionally, the company expanded its network of vehicle solutions to source high-quality components such as batteries and motors from Tier 1 strategic partners within the United States, ensuring compliance with domestic sourcing requirements.
To expand manufacturing, Alpha formed strategic alliances with Tier 1 vehicle manufacturing plants and e-mobility vehicle production engineering firms. These collaborations bolstered capacity and widened Alpha’s manufacturing scope, leading to the creation of the WOLF+ Electric Truck, an enhanced variant accommodating two additional passengers compared to the base model within a three-month assembly timeframe.
In March 2023, Alpha exhibited both vehicle prototypes (WOLF and WOLF+ Electric Trucks) at the Seoul Mobility Show in South Korea, attracting over 500,000 attendees. By July 2023, Alpha achieved a significant milestone by unveiling a functional, driving prototype of the WOLF Electric Truck, affirming its high-performance drivability. Subsequently, Alpha intensified its efforts to refine the SUPERWOLF, the third vehicle variant sharing the same platform as the electric truck.
These advancements culminated in Alpha's invitation to showcase the WOLF Electric Truck at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas in November 2023, drawing attention from over 160,000 attendees and showcasing Alpha's innovative vehicle technology and progress. Additionally, Alpha expanded its vehicle lineup by developing models like the JAX Crossover and REX SUV, utilizing the same modular vehicle technology platform.
This strategic initiative involved extensive engineering development to optimize vehicles for streamlined production, aligning with Alpha's established process for efficient vehicle production development. With over 66,100 vehicle preorders received to date, Alpha has demonstrated robust demand for its vehicles, especially the WOLF Truck Series, positioning the company strongly in a market anticipated to surpass US $1 trillion by 2030, driven by global government mandates for mass electrification of cars. This strong market potential affirmed Alpha's trajectory toward bringing compelling EV solutions to market fruition.
