Q: What sparked your interest in cars and led you to pursue a career in vehicle manufacturing?
A: My passion for creative problem-solving initially drove me to study various design disciplines. However, I fell in love with the intricacy and sophistication of automobiles, which inspired me to study automotive history and engineering. Early in my career at Audi, the discipline in engineering further fueled my enthusiasm for vehicle production. Beyond the technical aspects, I became deeply committed to understanding what kind of vehicles people truly desire. This shift towards addressing emotional drivers behind vehicle ownership became a pivotal point in my career. As I explored the answer to this question, I found myself increasingly committed to creating automobiles that not only fulfill people's desires and transportation needs but also contribute to making the world a better place.

Q: When we see a digital image of a vehicle from Alpha, what exactly are we witnessing?
A: Our vehicle images are automotive-quality engineering data used in vehicle manufacturing. Unlike images created for purely aesthetic purposes, we focus on engineering data with commercial utility. This approach allows us to maintain transparency in our development process, showcasing precision and the quality of our execution. All our vehicles, including test vehicles, and production vehicles in development are manufactured using engineering data, ensuring that the images accurately reflect the actual vehicles. This addresses a common challenge faced by automotive giants when translating concepts into mass-produced vehicles.
Having spent considerable time in the traditional and resource-intensive process for vehicle development, Alpha is implementing more efficient solutions. As Albert Einstein once noted, repetition breeds insanity, pushing us to strive for improvement and create cars that truly resonate with people.
In an era of highly digitalized vehicle production, our expertise enables a significantly more sustainable process compared to traditional manufacturing companies. By using engineering data for validation, we bridge the gap between consumer experience and production feasibility, leading the industry with our innovation in vehicle commercialization.

With over 68,000 vehicle preorders, we’re focused on producing highly commercialized electric vehicles for the mainstream market in an industry projected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2030. Alpha is prioritizing production of Trucks, SUVs, and Crossovers – segments that accounted for over 90% of new-car sales in 2023, reflecting the highest sales volume in the U.S.
Our proven track record is underscored by significant milestones, including multiple public showings and a fully operational test vehicle. The scalability of our technology positions us to diversify our vehicle offerings, appealing to a broad consumer base. With an EV lineup of 15 vehicles to date, Alpha’s market defensibility is robust compared to competitors with a single product approach.
