THE WOLF DRIVE
The Wolf Electric Truck Driving Prototype is Underway
Development of the vehicle’s main battery pack is in progress and based on lithium-ion NMC technology. The base platform of the 2 passenger Wolf truck is capable to house more than 5,700 2170 cylindrical cells with a total nominal capacity that ranges from 65kWh to 85kWh and charging voltage range of 350V to 400V.
Integration of RWD 3-in-1 (Motor, Inverter, Gearbox) Electric Drive Unit (EDU) and development of AWD system is in progress.
Streamlined reproduction and assembly of vehicle body, components, and chassis is in process. The body of the driving prototype of the Wolf is Alpha's first vehicle built from molds created specifically for reproduction. We expect to transition to steel stamping by early to mid-2024.
The straightforward construction of the Wolf vehicle architecture is enabling us to increase the speed and efficiency of production and assembly at current phase. We will further improve towards mass commercialization.
Below are computer generated renderings of our next Wolf electric truck driving prototype, which is projected for completion around mid-year 2023. The truck is constructed to be equipped with powerful acceleration, strong suspension, and overall smooth drivability. Data from the driving experience will be used to further develop and refine vehicle dynamics and performance.
